ABOUT US
Our Mission
We are an interfaith collection of people who intend to build hope through faith-based actions.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of every month, interfaith communities call attention to the urgency of our climate crisis.
We gather together and ring church bells, strike Buddhist gongs and singing bowls, recite the 99 names of Allah, sing nasheed (Islamic songs), recite Quran, or play the daf or djembe for 11 minutes after a prayer/meditation/poetry gathering.
By gathering monthly, we build community and spread awareness by handing out fliers about current calls for climate action and make plans to challenge ourselves to do more by the next month.
*NOTE: Because of the pandemic, we are now a live zoom event on the 11th of every month. Send your question or sign
up for the ZOOM link at 11thhourcalling@gmail.com.
You are invited to join us in any way that works for you and/or your faith community.
